Eiger Chalet is located in Perisher Valley approximately 5.5 hours drive from Sydney and approximately 2.5 hours from Canberra.

There is no overnight parking in Perisher Valley.

Option 1

You can leave your vehicle below the snowline at the Bullocks Flat overnight car park (no parking fee, no park entry fee, snow chains do not have to be carried) and travel via Skitube to Perisher.

Skitube is a convenient and innovative train ride from Bullocks Flat through the Ramshead range and into the National Park then onto Perisher Valley.

6.3km is underground making it one of the longest underground train tunnels in Australia and travelling as deep as 550m underground so it's a great experience in itself.

Option 2

Leave your car at the Sawpit Creek Car Park (no parking fee but Kosciuszko National Park entry fee applies. Snow chains have to be carried if proceeding beyond Sawpit Creek).

Option 3

Park and Drive from Jindabyne. There are several taxi and hire car services that operate from Jindabyne. Leave your car and worries behind you.

To Canberra Airport

There are many daily flights to Canberra from Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne, with connecting flights from other capital cities.

Car rental facilities are available at Canberra airport for the 2.5 hour drive to Perisher in the Snowy Mountains.

In winter, transfers from Canberra Airport to the resorts can be arranged through coach companies
